That sounds like a book title doesn’t it! But it’s real life and Evee has added yet another island to her collection of destinations – Iceland – she certainly gets about! Evee has completed a post already and has some gorgeous photos. I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland, I’d prefer that to somewhere hot but so far I’ve only managed to get to Norway and Denmark. I heard recently that it costs £12 for a very ordinary sandwich in Norway now – that’s a bit off-putting. Thanks Katrina. I’m so glad you enjoyed the trip to Iceland with me, even if it was just on the blog. I did love it! I didn’t dare work out the exchange rate though. I decided to take so much money, changed it to krones, and thought – well if I spend it all, it’s fine! I came home with 7000 krone – went to the post office with it and got back….£27 odds. Things were very expensive!!

7,000 Krone sounds like such a lot too! I think all those countries are very expensive. I’ve been ‘pining for the fjords’ for years since I went to Norway on a school cruise and loved it – maybe one day I’ll go back.
