You know those daft citizenship tests which were started up a few years ago, where they ask people hoping to become citizens questions that nobody born in the UK knows the answers to – well there’s a spoof Scottish one going around now.
Why not have a go here it won’t take long. You can see how I did if you click over to me on Facebook.
I scored only 9 right – 56%. I guess I’ll have to stay here in the colonies. (What would my Scottish ancestors say?!)
Debbie,
Well I only got four more than you, a couple of those questions were a bit tricksy!
I got 12, but Linda the Lurker got 15! What was the Scottish film with Liam Neeson in it? Didn’t get the drug one, and got caught out on a technicality on the football one. Is hake a sea fish?
Evee,
That makes Linda the winner then, I feel I should award her a deep fried Bounty Bar rather than a coconut! Liam Neeson was in the film Rob Roy, which we actually saw at the flicks. I got caught on a technicality and I answered Nessie too, hake seems to be similar to cod.
Katrina,
What an honour! I also got caught out on the football technicality. Can I pass on the deep fried Bounty Bar? My arteries are going into lockdown at the mere thought! But I’ll have the coconut please and hang it in the garden for the birds!
Linda,
Aha, lurk no more! You’re on, I’ll bring a coconut with me when I eventually get to Peebles and Evee can pass it on, if I can find one that is! Or I could try lobbing it over the Forth! It’s lovely to hear from you Linda.
