That is a great article. I ran into it yesterday because I had just finished Crooked House by Christie. But I did not realize it had just come out.

Yes, the ‘My Hero’ bit is a fairly frequent article in the review. I had exactly the same experience as Sophie Hannah with Christie, starting to read her at around the age of 12. I had run out of Enid Blyton Famous Five books to read!
