A certain person in our family (not me) has his birthday on Christmas Eve, so that’s always a very busy day for me, cooking for everyone for that celebration. Thankfully I have today off from the kitchen as others in our extended family are doing the honours!

I must say it’s quite refreshing to look at snowy scenes – it’s 30deg.C where I am, quite a warm Christmas Day this year.

It was warmish here too about 8 celsius, but so wet and grey. I prefer the cold and dry!

Do I ever like the idea of other members of your family doing some Christmas Day cooking and food prep! That must have been fun to see (and to eat). I find other people’s cooking so much more delicious than my own.
