Way back in February Duncan our eldest son got married to Alex and since then I’ve intended to put my favourite photos of the day on ‘Pining’ but haven’t got around to it – yet. A few days ago Duncan wrote a lovely blogpost about his own memories of the day, illustrated with photos, so if you are interested you can have a look at it here.
Katrina, Alex’s piece is one of the nicest I’ve seen for a wedding. Such stunning photographs – everyone looks so happy đŸ™‚ Please pass on my thanks to Alex for sharing his memories.
Sandra,
It’s confusing – but it was our son Duncan who wrote it, Alex(andra) is his wife. I’ll let him know you liked it!
I truly enjoyed seeing the photos and reading your son’s description of the events of the wedding day…thanks for sharing!
Paula,
I’m glad you enjoyed Duncan’s blogpost. I’ll let him know!
I did go see Duncan’s post and it is lovely. Very nice pictures. I don’t really enjoy events like weddings but this one was beautiful and I am sure it was fun to be at. Your son is quite a writer and expresses himself very well.
tracybham,
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Actually I think this is only the third wedding I’ve been to as an adult, I really avoid them when possible but we enjoyed our sons weddings. Duncan was the first blogger in our family, he was 14 when he started but he took some years off when studying and his career took priority.
What a lovely way to mark a wedding and the photos are great. Everyone looks so relaxed and happy sharing the joy.
Jo,
Amazingly the weather was great too, it was that really warm weekend in February, I had imagined we would be in snow, hence my boots!
Oh that was lovely! Beautiful photos. It all made me smile.
Stefanie,
I’m glad you enjoyed it, we need things to make us smile!
