I hope that 2020 will be a happy, healthy and peaceful year for us all.
Meanwhile, if you’re in need of something to cheer you up, why not have a look at the short You Tube video below featuring some scenic railway journeys. I’ve been on the steam train journey and apart from the gorgeous scenery it’s also fun to wave back at all the people along the way who stop to admire and wave at the train.
I heard on the radio during the week that Scotland is still the destination that most people want to visit. It makes me realise how lucky I am to live here!
Beautiful and uplifting video – thank you! So many familiar landscapes and structures there.
A very happy New Year to you, Katrina, good health and good cheer.
Valerie,
The same to you and yours. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
You are very lucky to live in Scotland, Katrina. It is very beautiful.
We are watching The Thin Man movie (set at Christmas) and After the Thin Man (set at New Year’s) tonight to celebrate.
Have a Happy New Year and a good reading year in 2020.
tracybham,
We had a very quiet Hogmanay too. I’ve never seen The Thin Man, it sounds like an ideal way to celebrate to me.
I hope you have a great reading year in 2020 too, my 2019 was not as good as I had hoped, but I think that was partly because of all the horrible things in the news – everywhere.
Happy New Year Katrina!
Sandra,
Thanks, I hope it’s a good year for you!
It is a beautiful country.
Happy New Year! You live in a gorgeous country. If I ever get to visit it I will consider myself blessed.
Stefanie,
If you are ever visiting Scotland be sure to let me know!
Happy New Year – hope 2020 is good to you and yours!
FictionFan,
Happy New Year to you and yours too, and happy reading!
