On Remembrance Sunday I laid a poppy wreath at the local War Memorial, on behalf of the Community Council.
Today is of course Armistice Day. It’s the 102nd anniversary of the end of the Great War at 11 am.

It has been a strange one this year but people did their best to mark it somehow, around here anyway.

It is important, I’m just hoping that people gave to the Poppy fund as usual, but I suppose so many people just won’t have the spare cash this time around.
