There are just a few authors that I had never heard of before, but quite a lot by favourite writers. There were just a couple that didn’t enthrall me.
I’m glad to say that I was able to borrow this book from my local library.
This sounds like a great book of short stories, and I will definitely find a copy soon. Thanks for reviewing it. Many of these authors I have not read but would like to try, and this would be a good way to do that.
tracybham,
I think you will enjoy these short stories, a few of which are by American writers obviously, interestingly different.
Katrina, That last comment was from TracyK at Bitter Tea and Mystery.
This is one of my library holds that just came in. You know I enjoy wartime fiction so your review is pushing it to the top of the pile.
Jennifer,
I found this one to be good bedtime reading. I love the authentic feel of wartime women’s fiction, you know it’s a true reflection of the society at the time I think.
Nice assortment of authors! Many I have heard of but few I have actually read. I think I will get a copy of this myself. Is it new?
Constance,
I believe that the book was published in 2018.
